More about San Juan Festival Ballet, a Division of the Pagosa Springs Arts Council.

This division is dedicated to educate and train students in the Classical Ballets. Students will acquire an appreciation of the classical performing arts, develop confidence in themselves and learn physical and mental skills through practice and performance that can positively affect the rest of their lives. Our mission statement:

"The San Juan Festival Ballet's mission is to provide quality ballet training and produce professional ballet performances in the Four Corners area."

The Directing Members of this division are:

Jennifer Martin, President

Andrew Jones, Vice President

Jeanne Simpson, Secretary

Stephanie Jones, Artistic Director


We are pleased to have as our part of our team, Stephanie Jones, who brings 23 years of ballet experience to the San Juan Festival Ballet. She is highly trained in the Cecchetti Method of classical ballet and passes on her expertise to her students.

"Providing quality professional ballet training and educating ballet students about Classical Ballets is our main focus. Students will carry their ballet education with them in all aspects of their lives."
